Singles of 2017: 4) Klangstof – Resume

Klangstof have become my favourite discovery of the past year, with their atmospheric and ethereal songs. They have toured the world over this year and became the first Dutch band to play Coachella. The Everest EP, from which this track comes, was written on their travels and contains their distinctive elements of “build” and those languid Scandinavian vocal pronunciations and intonations courtesy of Koen Van De Wardt. Prepare to be hypnotised by Klangstof.
